Ideology – Values and beliefs, targeting the bigger audience

Institution – Who made it, (Sony, Warner, Universal)?

Audience - Who the product is aimed at, is it appropriate to the target audience.

Representation – how is it represented?

How does the product use cinematography? State the angles used, the framing and the movement, what message is given out by the use of this?

Editing is it fast paced or slow, does it use special effects, if so how, does it have swipes, dissolves etc.

Sound- is there a sound break in the video; does the sound get any louder at any point?

Mise-En-Scene – narrative break at the beginning, use of locations, props? Costumes?
